CFOIB 6 Week Paleo Challenge
Ok, it’s time! It’s been over a month since our nutrition class and many of you have started making some serious improvements to your eating habits. And some of you have not! We have had two monthly challenges based on WOD performance only (Fight Gone Bad in January & Fran in February). Now it is time to “up the anty” and get serious about the essential element of elite fitness (and not to mention and healthy, long, and disease free life). Yes, I’m talking about the Paleo way of eating. You have heard me say it “Eat meat, vegetables, some fruit, little starch, & no sugar”. I’m not joking around! Many of you have asked me why I drink coconut milk in my coffee or why don’t I eat peanut butter, etc, etc (and believe me when I say there is a lot more to Paleo eating than just no dairy or peanut butter)…Watch the video clip below to get you a bit more familiar with the Paleo Diet. I will have more details posted soon!

Our last supper will be held at Duffer's in Shallotte on Wed, March 17th @ 6pm. Join us for one last meal full of non-paleo food & drink. The challenge will begin the following morning!
And to answer Dargan's question: No, we will not be doing Zone/Paleo. Of course you can still follow the zone parameters-- I would actually advise that-- but you will not be required to do so. We will talk more about this in our meeting next Monday.
