CrossFit OIB is conveniently located 1.3 miles south of the Hwy 17/Rt 904 crossing. Traveling north or south on Hwy 17 head towards OIB on Rt 904 and we are 0.25 mile just past the Ocean Ridge Entrance on your left. Centrally located, we look forward to serving the local residents of Brunswick County to include: Bolivia, Holden Beach, Shallotte, Ocean Isle Beach, Calabash, Sunset Beach; and those south of the border in Little River, Cherry Grove, and North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Facility
Opened in July 2009, CrossFit Ocean Isle Beach is a world class CrossFit facility with attributes and training tools unique to its location. Our “box” is over 6000 square feet (heated & cooled), much of which is open space conducive to the CrossFit experience, with 15 foot plus ceilings that provide the ability for rope climbs and other CrossFit movements that are oftentimes restricted by ceiling height. CFOIB′s pull up systems were custom designed to meet the needs of our athletes. The open space just outside our 5 bay doors is freely utilized for many of our workouts.
We use only free weights, barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, ropes, rings, tires, stones and other free moving equipment. By using only free moving training pieces, CrossFit Ocean Isle Beach athletes develop a truly functional fitness that improves and supports all of your daily activities.
We have three restrooms/changing rooms and an outdoor shower.
